These Terms of Service govern use of the platform provided by The Catholic Zone LLC.
Updated for business listings, owner publication permissions, ambassador participation, and clearer private-content and billing terms. Previous version
By creating an account, accessing, downloading, or using The Catholic Zone, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Catholic Zone is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an account.
You must provide accurate account information and may not create an account for someone else without authorization.
The Catholic Zone is an independent platform for discovering, posting, and coordinating Catholic-oriented events, groups, profiles, business listings, and local community activity. We also administer business listing and ambassador application programs.
Unless expressly stated by us, The Catholic Zone LLC is not the organizer, sponsor, operator, parish, diocese, religious order, venue, employer, or official representative for events, profiles, businesses, or offers posted by users, hosts, teams, or organizations.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your sign-in credentials and recovery methods.
You must notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or preserve platform integrity.
You are responsible for content you submit or make available, including profile information, names, handles, images, bios, event listings, event cover images, comments, ratings, reports, feedback, parish suggestions, trust/verification requests, Get Involved inquiries, business listings and offers, program applications, and team/profile content.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content.
You retain ownership of your content. For content you choose to make public, you grant The Catholic Zone LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, format, crop, resize, distribute, transmit, and moderate it as needed to operate, support, and promote the service, consistent with its stated visibility.
Private applications, supporting evidence, account contact details, and private correspondence are used to process requests, administer programs, communicate with authorized participants and staff, and support safety, legal, and audit needs described in the Privacy Policy. Submitting private information does not grant permission to publish it or use it in public promotions. Public owner names and parish affiliations require the separate authorization described in the Business Listing Terms.
You may not post or engage in unlawful, abusive, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, harassing, defamatory, misleading, fraudulent, spammy, infringing, unsafe, or otherwise objectionable activity.
You may not impersonate another person, parish, diocese, religious organization, business, ministry, or team; falsely claim authorization; interfere with the service; scrape or misuse data; evade moderation; or use the service to coordinate illegal or unsafe conduct.
Hosts are responsible for event accuracy, safety planning, venue permissions, access rules, costs, cancellation notices, RSVP handling, and legal compliance.
Attendees participate at their own discretion and risk.
The Catholic Zone does not guarantee event safety, quality, attendance, host identity, venue access, or outcomes.
A paid plan, public profile, team profile, badge, claim, or handle does not by itself mean that a parish, diocese, religious order, organization, business, or venue has authorized that profile.
Official parish/profile relations are created only through admin-reviewed verification or other approved evidence. We may approve, deny, revise, or revoke verification, claims, badges, handles, or official relations at any time if information is incomplete, inaccurate, disputed, outdated, or no longer authorized.
A Get Involved submission is an inquiry only. It does not guarantee a response, volunteer role, employment, posting access, profile access, ministry role, parish authorization, or any relationship with a profile, parish, host, team, or organization.
The relevant profile managers may receive and respond to the inquiry at their discretion.
Users may report content, events, comments, profiles, or accounts.
We may review, remove, quarantine, restrict, hide, label, investigate, or restore content and accounts. We may take action without prior notice when needed for safety, legal, policy, or operational reasons.
We do not guarantee any specific moderation outcome.
Subscriptions renew automatically only when that is part of the terms disclosed at purchase. Manually invoiced business packages follow the separately agreed invoice or package terms; they are not automatically recurring subscriptions.
Where offered, web checkout purchases are handled through a web payment provider. Native iOS purchases are handled through the Apple App Store. Native Android purchases are handled through Google Play.
Billing, cancellation, refund, tax, and subscription-management rules may differ by billing source.
Account deletion or app uninstallation may not automatically cancel an external store subscription.
The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, app-store billing, notifications, email, maps/geocoding, moderation, anti-abuse, security, diagnostics, and related operations.
Third-party links posted by users or hosts are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party destinations.
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, plans, pricing, policies, content, or access at any time.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Catholic Zone LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, safety, and reliability.
We do not guarantee user identity, event quality, event safety, or that content is complete or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Catholic Zone LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
Where liability cannot be fully disclaimed, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Catholic Zone LLC and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your events, your profile/team activity, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access for policy, legal, safety, security, or operational reasons.
Sections that by nature should survive termination continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates may require in-app review or acceptance before continued use.

You must be authorized to represent the business and provide accurate information. Obtain permission from every named owner to submit and publicly display their name and parish affiliation, including your own consent if you are an owner. Approved public information can appear in listings, associated business host profiles, maps, and shared previews, including to signed-out visitors. Your account email, explanation of your connection to the business, and private review evidence are not public listing fields.
Applying does not guarantee approval, publication, or a particular placement. We may request information, decline an application, or restrict or remove a listing for eligibility, accuracy, policy, safety, or legal reasons. Verification reflects our review of submitted information; it is not a guarantee of services, quality, safety, or continuing eligibility. Owner parish affiliations are self-reported and do not establish endorsement by a parish, diocese, or The Catholic Zone.
Keep descriptions, contact information, images, and offers accurate and use only content you have permission to provide. Identity information—including the business name, handle, category, location, website, owners, and owner parishes—requires review when changed. You may edit or withdraw an application while it is under review. Notify support promptly if an owner withdraws permission to publish their information.
The business is responsible for its goods, services, lawful operation, customer transactions, and honoring advertised offers. State any eligibility requirements, exclusions, and expiration conditions clearly, and remove expired offers. The Catholic Zone provides the directory; it is not the seller or a guarantor of an offer, purchase, refund, or dispute between a business and a customer.
Submitting an application does not publish a listing or initiate a charge. Fees, payment dates, renewal, cancellation, and refund conditions are those disclosed and agreed for your business package or invoice; manual invoicing is not automatically a recurring subscription. Included business host-team access is separate from personal hosting and other subscriptions. Hosting remains subject to the event rules in the Terms of Service.
Removing an approved listing deactivates its business host team and unpublishes its upcoming events. Returning requires a new application. Removal does not cancel a separate subscription or erase amounts already owed under an agreed invoice. Withdrawal or removal is not account deletion: review, consent, invoice, and audit records may remain for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

Provide accurate information about yourself and any group you represent. An existing group is not required. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, complimentary hosting, compensation, or rewards. Participation begins after approval and the required onboarding. These terms supplement the Terms of Service; any additional program-specific commitments must be presented and agreed during onboarding.
Complimentary hosting is tied to eligible participation and the program conditions communicated to you. Program participation or access may be paused or ended for inactivity under communicated requirements, program closure, policy violations, or other eligibility changes. Any applicable end date, transition window, and data-retention notices will be shown or communicated through the program. Separate paid subscriptions or other access grants remain independent.
We use relevant event, RSVP, attendance confirmation, referral, and subscription-conversion records to administer the program and evaluate eligibility. Rewards depend on the applicable program rules and staff review; an activity total or pending reward is not a promise of payment. Do not fabricate attendance, referrals, accounts, or other qualifying activity. Approved rewards and any applicable tax responsibilities are governed by the reward conditions provided to you.
When promoting or endorsing The Catholic Zone in connection with program benefits, make that relationship clear where the recommendation appears, unless it is already clear to that audience. Use ordinary language, such as “The Catholic Zone provides my group free hosting access through its ambassador program,” when true. A profile label or earlier message alone may not reach new readers. This is not a blanket requirement to add a script to every routine event reminder or RSVP link: whether a message is promotional depends on its content and context, including any incentive to share it. Disclose referral rewards when promoting a qualifying referral link. Do not make misleading claims or promise benefits you cannot provide.
Participation alone does not make you an employee or authorize you to bind or speak officially for The Catholic Zone, a parish, or another organization. You remain responsible for your events, permissions, safety planning, and conduct under the Terms of Service. Do not imply a parish or organization sponsors you without its authorization.
Authorized marketing and administrative staff review application information and may contact you using your account details. The proposal PDF is informational; your application records which version was shown. It does not by itself grant benefits or silently replace these accepted terms. You may withdraw a pending application or contact support about ending participation. Application, activity, reward, and audit records are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
