Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, downloading, or using The Catholic Zone, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Catholic Zone is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an account.

You must provide accurate account information and may not create an account for someone else without authorization.

The Catholic Zone is an independent platform for discovering, posting, and coordinating in-person Catholic-oriented events, groups, profiles, and local community activity.

Unless expressly stated by us, The Catholic Zone LLC is not the organizer, sponsor, operator, parish, diocese, religious order, venue, employer, or official representative for events or profiles posted by users, hosts, teams, or organizations.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your sign-in credentials and recovery methods.

You must notify us promptly of unauthorized access.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or preserve platform integrity.

You are responsible for content you submit or make available, including profile information, names, handles, images, bios, event listings, event cover images, comments, ratings, reports, feedback, parish suggestions, trust/verification requests, Get Involved inquiries, and team/profile content.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content.

You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant The Catholic Zone LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, format, crop, resize, distribute, transmit, moderate, translate where needed, and otherwise use that content to operate, secure, improve, promote, and support the service.

This includes displaying content in-app, on public or shared pages, in event/profile previews, in notifications, in email messages, and in administrative or review workflows.

You may not post or engage in unlawful, abusive, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, harassing, defamatory, misleading, fraudulent, spammy, infringing, unsafe, or otherwise objectionable activity.

You may not impersonate another person, parish, diocese, religious organization, business, ministry, or team; falsely claim authorization; interfere with the service; scrape or misuse data; evade moderation; or use the service to coordinate illegal or unsafe conduct.

Hosts are responsible for event accuracy, safety planning, venue permissions, access rules, costs, cancellation notices, RSVP handling, and legal compliance.

Attendees participate at their own discretion and risk.

The Catholic Zone does not guarantee event safety, quality, attendance, host identity, venue access, or outcomes.

A paid plan, public profile, team profile, badge, claim, or handle does not by itself mean that a parish, diocese, religious order, organization, business, or venue has authorized that profile.

Official parish/profile relations are created only through admin-reviewed verification or other approved evidence. We may approve, deny, revise, or revoke verification, claims, badges, handles, or official relations at any time if information is incomplete, inaccurate, disputed, outdated, or no longer authorized.

A Get Involved submission is an inquiry only. It does not guarantee a response, volunteer role, employment, posting access, profile access, ministry role, parish authorization, or any relationship with a profile, parish, host, team, or organization.

The relevant profile managers may receive and respond to the inquiry at their discretion.

Users may report content, events, comments, profiles, or accounts.

We may review, remove, quarantine, restrict, hide, label, investigate, or restore content and accounts. We may take action without prior notice when needed for safety, legal, policy, or operational reasons.

We do not guarantee any specific moderation outcome.

Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled according to the applicable billing terms.

Web purchases are handled through a web payment provider. Native iOS purchases are handled through the Apple App Store. Native Android purchases are handled through Google Play.

Billing, cancellation, refund, tax, and subscription-management rules may differ by billing source.

Account deletion or app uninstallation may not automatically cancel an external store subscription.

The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, app-store billing, notifications, email, maps/geocoding, moderation, anti-abuse, security, diagnostics, and related operations.

Third-party links posted by users or hosts are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party destinations.

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, plans, pricing, policies, content, or access at any time.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Catholic Zone LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, safety, and reliability.

We do not guarantee user identity, event quality, event safety, or that content is complete or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Catholic Zone LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.

Where liability cannot be fully disclaimed, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Catholic Zone LLC and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your events, your profile/team activity, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access for policy, legal, safety, security, or operational reasons.

Sections that by nature should survive termination continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates may require in-app review or acceptance before continued use.
